    Yoga for Back Care

    Yoga for Back Care

Bad posture and misalignments puts constant stress on the body. Along with that comes muscle tension, which reduces blood circulation & compresses the discs. The ligaments become loose making you more prone to injury. Other factors are poor diet and lack of exercise. Reoccurring back pain shows that the ligaments have healed with weakened & poorly formed scar tissue. You can easily get reinjured. Mechanically, the ligaments get injured from compression of the discs – often through tension in the spinal muscles. This class is designed to teach you how to care for your back to prevent these stressors from reoccurring.

Hips and legs can extend, abduct and internally rotate more freely. What are you waiting for? Let's get those hips open and moving and grooving.

    Awakening the Iliopsoas Muscles

The class will help you awaken and connect on a deeper level to the importance of caring for these two muscles. Ilio is the smaller muscle and the Psoas is the bigger muscle that connects your upper and lower body and your front and back body. Trauma is held in the Iliopsoas and when you can release these muscles it is like opening the window of your soul especially if it has been locked for years. The Psoas is one of the strongest muscles in your body and affects your whole structure. This asana practice will help you connect by moving into postures that contract, lengthen and relax these muscles. You will gain a deeper awareness and understanding about how to care for your Iliopsoas muscles to enable optimal functioning and support for your mind-body complex. Enjoy your practice and don’t forget to leave me a comment. I would love for you to subscribe to my channel if you find these videos beneficial to your health and wellness.

Balance Your Heart Chakra and Emotional Intelligence with Yoga Me Fit

This sequence focuses on opening and strengthening the heart chakra to bring balance and cultivate emotional intelligence. When this chakra is in balance, emotions of love, compassion and empathy are experienced through the heart center. When this energy center is out of balance feelings of sadness, loneliness, depression and emotional conflicts are disturbing you. Looking for love in all the wrong places to fill the void will only snowball your emotional instabilities. Shift the energy by paying attention to your heart center and emotions that well up inside of you. Breathe and focus on the heart. Pay attention as you move through these postures observing the sensations of your actions and awareness. Step into the flow and allow the emotions to flow through you without attaching yourself to them. Release stress and negative emotions. After all E-motions are just energy in motion. Enjoy and Relax!
